Rangaipura Patidar Samaj of USA  proudly organized summer picnic 2014. picnic was organized same place as every year we organized at favorite place at Merrill Park, New Jersey.  there were almost 350 patidars have shown up from different states like New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut.

There were many activities took place like cricket, soccer, volleyball, football while women played Garba. Morning stated with snacks like dalvada, Gota, Jalebi, Panipuri, Papdi no lot (khichu), boiled/baked maized along with sort drinks  and soda. while in Puri and Ringan - Bataka ni Subji, Papad-Papdi, Pickles and Chhas.

This summer picnic expected to be last picnic as all gaam from our samaj have already organized summer picnic so far. Manibhai Rajibhai Patel (Bhatiel), Dineshbhai R Patel (Davalpura) and Ramjibhai Patel (Fagni)  took initiative to talk over next samaj picnic and many other gaam get ready to contribute for next summer picnic right away on the park, which shows how samaj get together is important for meeting new people or meeting people whom you know but never get chance meet up. summer picnic / Diwali party is the only event once in year where you can see all our patidars under a roof. It is our success that living in foreign land we are still united and keep our culture alive. They came up with idea of next summer picnics at the park for following years by Visharmpura, Davalpura, Bhatiel, Ishrama, Bhavanipura and Shahpur will take initiative of organizing summer picnic. The great Enthusiasm shown by women youth by taking initiative of organizing committee for collecting fund for next Diwali Party.
