I think sardar patel had done everything for india as he could do. 
  In our school on 12/12/13 there is debate on sardar vallabhai patel is a icon of integrity and unity or not. I think this is very disgusting topic. Becoz there is no negative point of sardar patel. He is our role model every one should give respect to him. By saying negative point on him, we are insulting sardar patel and the most ourselves. Thats why I didnt took part in this debate. Actually I dont take part in debate becoz I bielieve that every thing has its two sides so we cannot say something thing is totally good or bad

[1] The real story of his life..When he was a    child.he was suffering from skin boil [Guj.Bamali].Even the barber was unable to put the live Iron bar on the spot where the skin boil was.the child himself do the work without showing pain.
[2] When Sardar was in the court defending an innocent man,a message was given to him about the death of his wife.The Iron man Sardar did not show any feeling and fought the case.At last the judge asked him what was the message given to him by an unknown person. Sardar replied pathetically that his wife had died. Sardar believed in duty first.
According to him,Divided we fall,united we stand
Congratulation to Gujarat Government to have such an idea to put up a statue of sardar at Sadhubet.I must say the statue of Sardar will enlighten the world with two words:[1] Harmony[2]integration

actually 5 stars are to small for him he is ,was and he will the hero for the whole world because of his great karma ,now after his death he lives in all of us because he did good job. I think we all have to learn from his life and TRY TO MAKE OUR WAY OF LIFE . HE DIDNT TOLD US TO FOLLOW HIS WAY BUT TO MAKE OUR WAY, ALL THE PEOPLES HAVE TO BE STRONG ,QUICK IN ALL DEICISION. Why cant we promote Sardar Patel and Mahatma Gandhis Matrubhashas nukta and shirorekha free Gujanagari script in writing Nehrus propagated Hindi and enforce two scripted education like in Hindi states in Gujarat?

I strongly feel that when the baby (India) was born parenting issues marred the child growth and development. We got Nehru as a person who was in fact more attached to Britishers (FIRANGI)  way of life style rather than Bharatbhoomi. That a aristocrat in him did not allow to connect with Bharat. By imposing Nehru on nation against the wish of the then deciding people, Mahatma Gandhi did disservice to this nation (though his intention was not so but he failed to gaze the challenges ahead). I remember and recall very clearly in my childhood days what my great grand father and other older people would say about him (read Nehru). Bharat suffered severely in its growing years (Childhood days) after liberation from British Rule. The logic Mahatma Gandhi gave was his world views made him to choose Nehru. but he could have been made foreign minister. Do not forget Sardar Patel had won 50 pound reward and passed his law degree just in 18 months. So i rate that Saradr Patel intellect was not less than anyone including Nehru....I have more to write but..will stop now..

How long Government of India & we as Indian take to recognizes, grasp, and understand the value others too! But British may have  understood better this one classic example may seriously display this - 
MK Gandhi:Background: When A Lawyer Qualified in England, worked in South Africa but born and brought up in India (Gujarat)  known as  Mahatma Gandhi was fighting Independent movement, his Western  cultures , life styles and thinking have sudden changes in 1947, when his thoughts and his kindness  make him to realised that he is representative of A Country where 80% of the peoples hardly have cloths to wear or roof over their head and from that day he say good bye to his western life style and he become simple/ ordinary  Indian. He started to use only public Transport and travelling in the Bus and Train.  At that point  Dr Ghanshyam Birla (52 years old ) offered him a gift of private charter plane  but Gandhiji refused to take his humble and kind gesture  So this is a personality and specific character whose thinking and kindness has always contributed in well development and welfare of the ordinary peoples  by  establishing and donating  reputable  and prestigious colleges in Engineering and Technology and Science  throughout India and some Great Marble Temples in some parts. He was born  in India on 10/04/1894. Live until 11/06/1983 Achievement: Laid the foundations of the Birla Empire; founder of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).

In his 90years life-  in 1915 at age of 21,  he started his own cotton and jute business in  North east India  and then in 1919 at age of 25, inherited his family business and  the Birla Brothers Limited was formed.  In 1926 at age of 32, he was elected to the Central Legislative Assembly of British India. [

In 1940s at age of 46, he ventured into the territory of cars and established Hindustan Motors, and then he also expand his vision in other businesses  such as Textiles, Steel industry and Banking sectors. His thought in British India was to establish a commercial Bank with Indian capital and management, and Finally in 1943 at age of 49 in Kolkata he incorporated United Commercial Bank Limited. Which is still successfully running throughout India as very Major, Old, Successful, Profitable and Reputable  Commercial Bank known as  UCO Banks (United Commercial Bank.)

At age 63 after all his hard work and constant contribution in growth of Indian Economy and Commerce and Industry  and Nation as whole In 1957, Government of India recognized  his work  he was awarded Indias second highest civilian honor, the Padma Vibhushan by the Government of India. This may seriously display reflect on how long, we as Indian take to recognizes, grasp, and understand the value others too! 

By the way there is a memorial to Ghanshyam Birla in Golders Green Crematorium, Hoop Lane, London.NW10  It comprises a large statue overlooking the gardens with an inscription. He died in 1983 at the age of 90.
